Recreation Department

Coshocton City Recreation Department is responsible for various recreation programs and maintaining our three city parks. The department also works closely with our city school system to provide fields for baseball and softball teams.

City Recreation Park – Located near Kids America on Otsego Avenue. The city’s largest park offers ball fields for High School, Pony League and Little League. Along with a walking path, picnic area, a shelter, a dog park and a 1/8 mile dirt track for remote control cars.

Bancroft Park – Located on South 11th Street is an established neighborhood park recently donated to the city. It has basketball and tennis courts as well as playground equipment.

Himebaugh Park – Located at the corner of 7th Street and Orange Street the city’s newest park is still a work in progress. It currently has a walking path, shelter, basketball court and room for pick up games for softball and soccer. The entrance has been beautifully landscaped by a Coshocton Leadership Class as their class project. Future plans include concrete skate park and playground equipment.
