Downtown Coshocton
Shopping in Downtown Coshocton offers small town charm. Stroll along our wide sidewalks, to find a large variety of goods and services. Plenty of free parking allows you to shop your way from one end of Main Street to the other.

Historical Roscoe Village
Located along what once was the Ohio-Erie Canal this is a restored 1830’s canal town that interprets Ohio’s Canal Era. The village hosts various festivals, special events and holiday activities that educate and provide fun entertainment for guest. Visitors can find area crafts, elegant home furnishings, books, baskets, gourmet coffees and foods, fine jewelry, pottery, leather goods and many other original and unique items and offers a variety in dining experiences. Roscoe is also home to COTC (Central Ohio Technical College) and Johnson Humrickhouse Museum.

Himebaugh Park
The City’s newest public park is centrally located across the street from our fire department on 7th Street! The walking path, basketball court and seasonal outdoor ice rink along with the shelter are now complete. Still in the development stage are a playground and a concrete skate park.

Bancroft Park
A well maintained established neighborhood park, offering basketball, tennis courts and playground equipment.

City Recreation Park
Offers beautifully maintained ball fields for High School, Pony League and Little league. Walk path, picnic area, a dog park and a 1/8 mile dirt track for remote control cars. All located near the Kids America complex on Otsego Avenue.

Clary Gardens
A beautiful 20 acre botanical garden offering spring fed ponds, sandstone outcroppings, a ravine, many native and exotic perennials, trees, shrubs, a rose garden, trails and an amphitheater. Admission is free, may be rented for weddings and special events.

Coshocton Bowling Center
A 34 Lane facility is a great destination for family fun. The center offers well maintained bowling lanes, a food bar, game room and for adult entertainment the Legacy Lounge.

County Fairgrounds
Since 1851 the Coshocton County Fair has been a hometown tradition. Coshocton’s October fair is one of the last in the state making the agricultural products among the best in Ohio.  The fair has agricultural products on display, livestock barns filled with animals, traditional racing programs, nightly entertainment and the midway.

Central Ohio Technical College
The Coshocton Campus located in Historic Roscoe Village offers residents a state-of-the-art location for all classes and services. The facility has 15 classrooms, laboratory space, lecture hall, nursing lab, distance learning classroom and a community room.

Kids America
An Indoor Sports Venue that is one of a kind. This giant facility offers indoor and outdoor soccer fields, walking/running track, basketball/volleyball/tennis courts, meeting rooms, fitness room, aerobic/weight room and a performing arts studio.

Lake Park
This private not-for-profit facility is located just outside the city. Coshocton Lake Park Recreational Complex offers a variety of activities. The Complex has an Aquatic Center, Playvillion, Campground, Pavilion, Hilltop Golf Course, Nature Trails, Canal Boat Rides, Paddle Boat Rental and a Fishing Lake. It is also home of the Indian Mud Run an adventure 5K race with many challenging natural obstacles.

Forest Hill Lake and Campground
Forest Hill is a family friendly destination with approximately 70 camping sites available and an abundance of fun activities. There is fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, paddle boats, and swimming.

Woodbury Wildlife Area
With over 19,000 acres open to the public for hunting, fishing, hiking, picnics, bird watching and primitive camping this is the largest public wildlife area in Ohio.  The area also offers a shooting range and walk through archery trail. The area is managed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and access is free to the public.

Dining
Coshocton offers a variety of locally owned eateries with a variety of original menu items. We also have a variety of the classic well known restaurants. Whatever your appetite is we have a place for you.

Hotels/Motels
Coshocton has two large chain motels, several locally owned/operated motels, locally owned cabins and numerous bed and breakfasts available for visitors.

Golfing
Three public golf courses in the county offer avid golfers a delightful variety of courses to challenge their game. Two courses offer 18 holes and the third has 27 holes. Cart rental is available at all three courses.

Wineries
Coshocton County has become home to several wineries and has established the Three Rivers Wine Trail. Each has its own unique atmosphere and wine, some offering full service dining and group accommodations.

Triple Locks Theater
Home of the Footlight Players a community theater group.  The theater offers numerous plays throughout the year.

Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum
Located in Historic Roscoe Village the museum is a general interest museum that has permanent exhibits as well as special “time limited” exhibits. There is also a gift shop and the museum offers a variety of educational opportunities; tours (adult and children), community programs, lectures and workshops.

Pomerene Center for the Arts
The Center offers drawing, painting and craft classes. The Center also has various entertainment events during the year.

Coshocton Airport Amphitheater
Situated on three (3) acres of reclaimed airport land, that forms a natural amphitheater, the amphitheater has several events in the summer months. As a new theater there is currently a ticket office, restrooms and stage with plans to add more features each season.
