The City Law Director serves as legal counsel to the City of Coshocton Administration and City Council. Duties of the Law Director include the preparation of, or review of all contracts, bonds, or other written instruments to which the city is involved, and the prosecution of all misdemeanor crimes that occur within the County of Coshocton. Other duties include the representation of the city in lawsuits and disputes, and the preparation of legal opinions to the administration and legislative authority.
